With roots born of the post depression mining boom Sun Valley’s appeal derives from its Western roots and gravity as an isolated locale where the celebrities of the 1950’s could let their hair down while basking in sun-filled winter recreation.

Proper clothing care begins with reading and following garment care labels, as different fabrics require specific treatments.
Sort laundry by color and fabric type before washing, using cold or warm water for most items to prevent shrinkage and color fading, and reserving hot water for heavily soiled whites and linens.
Turn garments inside out to protect prints and reduce pilling, fasten zippers and buttons to prevent snagging, and use appropriate detergent amounts—too much can leave residue while too little won't clean effectively.
Avoid overloading the washing machine to ensure proper cleaning and rinsing, and consider air-drying delicate items or using low heat in the dryer to extend garment life.
